Our first breath on this earth is a magical thing. And every breath afterward is a blessing. I know I take things for granted, like sunlight, dark, clouds, birds chirping in the trees, my friends, oh, and my health. I'm lucky to be safe from COVID-19 right now, and I hope all of you are experiencing health right now in every way you can. But there's more.
So many of us have lost friends and family to disease, and it shouldn't have taken a worldwide pandemic to drum into my head that our health should be a goal, not something we expect. With that in mind, I'm doubling-down on my commitment to my life, a healthy diet, plenty of sleep, and yes, when I get the chance, a full helping of the breathtaking world we live in every day.
I wish you all that the United States of America's Declaration of Independence promises: Life, liberty, and the pursuit of justice. Plus the health in your family and your own life to enjoy everything we all deeply want.
Along the way to that, I'm going to suggest some moderation in the foods and drinks I know aren't good, and some increases in good foods, exercise, and how to do it all at a moderate pace that won't overwhelm any of us. Especially me.
I'll also be talking about education in nutrition, medical aesthetics, and yeah, that exercise stuff again. I hope you'll join me on what's going to be a long but very fun journey to living life to the fullest while healthy enough to enjoy it.
